Field Trial in Sonoita, Arizona Since 1985 when my father bought me my first Brittany I have been a fan of the breed. I was 10 years old at the time and my Dad and I trained Allie together each day working on obedience and retrieving. She was raised in the house next to my bed and I can still remember the cold winter nights taking her out to potty in the snow. We had many adventures together and spent a lot of time hiking and hunting near our home in southwestern Utah.

I have owned other pointing dog breeds since then but I kept gravitating back to the Brittany. Settled now with a family of my own and living in rural Utah again I am glad to finally raise brittanies in earnest. My children are good helpers in taking care of the dogs and assisting me with dog training. We raise quail, chukar and pigeons as a hobby and that keeps us well-stocked with birds for gun dog training. During the winter months our dogs can often be found guiding hunters at the local pheasant preserve.

My first Brittany "Allie" - 1985
