Sue Pointing Shaved

This is our new dog named “Sue”. Her official AKC registered name is TJ’s White Shadow and her old call name was Scout. We are having her trained this summer with Ben Garcia at Hideaway Kennels. This is the first pic we have of her sporting her new haircut. She got shaved down from her winter coat for her summer of fun chasing birds. We are so excited to have her come home in September when Ben Garcia come to teach at our gun dog training seminar.

5-6 Puppies Confirmed via Ultrasound

October 8th, 2009 admin 1 comment

We went to the vet the other day and tried to get a head count, but it is very hard to see just how many puppies are in there. The vet says he can see at least 5 or 6 little bodies wiggling around in there. We are excited for Annie’s litter to be born and can’t wait to see the little puppies grow and develop. We have a couple deposits on puppies but will take a few more. Picks will be in the order they are received. Click the paypal link to place your $100 deposit.

Hunting Brittany Litter Due October 17th

August 25th, 2009 admin No comments

Annie Pointing Pheasant 2009Our classy female hunting dog Annie has been bred to Buster and we expect an excellent litter of brittany puppies around October 17th. Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes around christmas time. This should be an excellent litter of hunting brittanies with a natural retrieve, strong point and good nature. Annie has a great nose has hunted wild valley quail, chukar partridge and blue grouse here in Utah. She also spends a lot of the winter chasing pheasants as a guide dog at the Rooster Valley Pheasant Preserve.

We are expecting both colors from this litter. White and Liver as well as white and orange brittany puppies. Since this is Annie’s first litter we are not sure how many puppies to expect. The litter will be whelped indoors at our kennel facilities in Annabella, UT and will be well socialized by my 6 small children. We love the brittany dogs for their calm nature and trainability. See our breeding plan to learn more about the heritable qualities that we are breeding for.

BusterPointWest Mountain Buster is a new addition to our kennels this year. He is from the well-know Dave Walker brittany lines and is a fine hunting dog. We like his temperment and his easy going nature. We are looking forward to chasing some birds with him as the pheasant, chukar and quail seasons open up here in Utah. His sire is FC Ricoche-T and his dam is Sweet Dreams. Call my cell if you are interested in buying American Brittany puppies from this litter (435) 313-1212.
