Hello,
I was considering a brittany hunting dog. I was wondering how they do at retrieving in cold water (duck hunting). My brother and I have been primarily hunting chukar over English pointers for the last 10 years, but expect to be splitting our weekends one day hunting chukar and the other day hunting ducks.
I appreciate any information on the brittany’s ability to retrieve ducks from cold water.
